Packaging of meat and sausage products in Austria

Starting situation:

Our customer’s success story began nearly 60 years ago. Today, our customer is one of the largest meat and sausage producers in Austria. Every year, more than 60,000 tons are processed into premium-quality products.

Challenges:

Our customer offers a wide range of products in many different package sizes. This is why a flexible solution was particularly vital to the customer.

Our solution:

Downstream of an existing tubular bag machine, the customer opted for a fully automatic packaging line from Supervac. The project consists of a GK501B belt machine with height-adjustable sealing bars and fully automatic exhaust system for bag cut-offs as well as a AT8 shrink tank and a BL15 dryer. The customer was able to increase productivity significantly and has implemented the solution at another location.
