Regional Bacon Products Flexibly Packaged

Starting situation:

Our customer is a family-owned business in Austria and specialist for production of regionally-based bacon, ham, raw sausage products and roast products. The company delights consumers with premium quality and great flavor. More than 60% of the products are exported.

Challenges:

The wide variety of products requires great flexibility in packaging. For one, the focus is on packaging for storing and transporting the products safely and hygienically prior to further processing. Secondly, the products in shrink bags must look perfect for the end customers.

Our solution:

The customer uses machines from Supervac to produce both transport packaging and shrink packaging. The shrink packaging put the product in the limelight: the look and feel of the naturally shaped products is perfect. The required packaging is flexibly and optimally made throughout the day.
