Flexible packaging of various meat products in the Mediterranean region

Starting situation

Our customer, a well-known company from the Mediterranean region, has been successfully represented on the market since the 1970s. As a trendsetter with consistently high production reliability, its high standards for quality and trust are of paramount importance to the company. The product range includes beef, lamb, pork and poultry.

Challenge

The legacy packaging systems had reached their limits in terms of packaging size and throughput. The customer needed a powerful and flexible solution for the anticipated growth.

Our solution

We delivered a complete packaging line consisting of the Easybagger Plus filling aid, the GK 962 B vacuum packaging machine, the AS 860 shrink tunnel and the BL 15 drying tunnel.

With this line, the customer is now able to package all their products in a wide range of sizes – including whole lambs – efficiently and flexibly.  At the same time, the planned production quantities are easily attained. The cornerstone for future growth has been laid.
