High-quality protein for the best steakhouses in New York
Initial situation:
Our customer is an up-and-coming company and has some of the best steakhouses in New York as its customers. The customer is of the opinion that the highest quality protein comes from the best animals. Starting from the genetics, through to the breeding, feeding and optimum treatment of the animals, top quality products can be achieved on the market. Considerable emphasis is also placed on all stages of processing, resulting in exceptionally high-quality products. Various beef, pork, veal, lamb and poultry products are packaged according to the customers’ requirements. The existing packaging machines allow for too little flexibility, though.
Challenges:
As the company is growing rapidly, space is limited. Despite this, it is necessary to install a machine solution that allows for plenty of flexibility and high output at the same time. It is also important for the products to be packaged securely and for the operators to be able to operate the machines easily, as a large number of different packaging sizes – depending on the customer requirements – are to be used on this line.
Solution:
Our solution is a packaging line consisting of a GK 169 B chamber conveyor belt machine and an AT8 shrink tank. Despite the compact design, the customer is able to package a variety of different products in a very short time. The double biactive sealing also allows for the machine to be put to flexible use for different bag thicknesses. The customer is exceptionally satisfied with the solution and already has plans for further growth. We are very pleased to have been able to accompany them on their successful journey.
