This includes activities that maintain the functionality and safety of machinery and systems. Only a well-maintained machine can produce completely satisfactory results without any downtimes.
The individual activities include mainly:
- Assessing the sealing bars (sealing wire, Teflon)
- Inspection of the lid gasket
- Assessing the cut-off devices
- Checking the vacuum pumps (quantity and condition of the oil, the filters)
- Checking the tightness of the vacuum chamber
- Checking the lid movement
- Checking the vacuum sensor
